What is Prezo?
The domain name www.prezonow.com, an internet-based platform, along with the Prezo mobile application, is owned and operated by CKB Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as “Prezo,” “We,” “Our,” “Us,” or the “Company”). Together, the domain name and mobile application are collectively referred to as the “Platform.”
Your access to or use of the Prezo Platform, any transactions made on the Platform, and the use of services hosted or managed remotely through the Platform are governed by these Terms of Use, including all applicable policies incorporated herein by reference. These Terms of Use constitute a legal and binding agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as “You,” “Your,” or the “User”) and Prezo.
By accessing, browsing, or conducting any transactions on the Prezo Platform, or by availing any of its services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Furthermore, by expressly or implicitly accepting these Terms of Use, you also agree to comply with our policies, including the Privacy Policy, along with any other relevant rules, guidelines, policies, and terms applicable under Indian law and other jurisdictions. These policies and regulations shall be deemed an integral part of these Terms of Use. However, if you navigate away from the Prezo Platform to a third-party website, you may be subject to different terms of use and privacy policies as specified on that website. In such cases, the respective website’s terms and policies will govern your usage.
The Prezo Platform and mobile applications serve as a platform that enables the online purchase of pharmaceutical products offered directly by CKB Medical Center. The relationship between You and Prezo is governed by these Terms of Use. The services are available to individuals who have registered on the Prezo Platform or mobile applications as per the process determined by Prezo from time to time. This also includes individuals who browse the Platform or mobile applications as visitors without making a purchase. Prezo provides its services through various means, including discount coupons and vouchers that can be redeemed for products and services offered by Prezo. To facilitate interaction between You and Prezo, we may send promotional content, including but not limited to emails, notifications, and messages.
You acknowledge and agree that the Prezo Platform and mobile applications serve as a platform for You to connect and transact with Prezo. Prezo is the sole seller and is responsible for all transactions conducted on the platform.
To use the Prezo Platform or mobile applications, you must be at least 18 (eighteen) years old. By accessing or using the Platform or mobile applications, or by accepting these Terms of Use, you represent and warrant to Prezo that you are 18 years of age or older and that you have the legal right, authority, and capacity to use the platform and comply with these Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use are published in compliance with and governed by the applicable laws of India, including but not limited to:
- The Indian Contract Act, 1872 (“Contract Act”);
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”) and the associated rules, regulations, guidelines, and clarifications, including:
- The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011;
- The Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 (“IG Guidelines”);
- The Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (“Drugs Act”) and the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 (“Drugs Rules”);
- The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 (“Drugs and Magic Act”);
- The Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, read with the Indian Medical Council Rules, 1957;
- The Pharmacy Act, 1948 (“Pharmacy Act”); and
- The Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
